Collaborating with others can be so beneficial when starting a new business. That’s why I’ve partnered with Inspired Southerner – an online magazine featuring the great things about the South. We both have a common goal – to help small businesses succeed by giving them the right tools for PR and photography.
Recently, we visited the Pine Hill Christmas Tree Farm in Tarrant, Alabama to learn more about this family owned business that grows around 5,000 trees each year and help them tell their story.
About our trip to Pine Hill Farms
Kara Kennedy with Inspired Southerner wrote an article on this farm and includes some great tips we learned from the owner, Carly Walker. Her family has been on this same farm for over 50 years and helps many Birmingham area families create wonderful Christmas memories. You can cut down the tree yourself, you can dig it up then plant in your yard after Christmas, and/or they can string the lights, flock, and deliver it for you.
Here are a few pictures I took from our trip to Pine Hill Farms, and click here to visit the Inspired Southern’s full article and learn the best way to water your Christmas tree. I had no idea this was even a thing! You’ll see what I mean when you read it.
Why we collaborate?
Inspired Southerner and Focus Creative both have an interest in seeing small businesses succeed, so we decided to work together to help promote other small businesses. These types of collaborations will expose both of us to relationships and help grow our network. Plus, the more small businesses work together, the stronger we will be.
Effective partnerships drive innovation and growth to the benefit of the entire industry and, most importantly, the customers. If you are ever interested in collaborating on a project or know of a great small business we should feature, shoot me a message! I would love to learn more.
