I cannot believe the two things that I’ve been wanting for so long are finally here … and it’s not lost on me that the things I’ve been dreaming and planning are coming true in the middle of a pandemic. Even though the timing is not ideal, I know it’s the right time for me. And … I’m so excited to finally share them with you!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to live in Fairhope, for the past two years, I’ve been dreaming of expanding my business to help other photographers across the country learn how to create a business they are proud of and excited to be a part of; and for the last few months, I’ve been working with the incredibly talented Kelsea Buddo with Kindly by Kelsea to rebrand my business for this next chapter!

Well, as of a few weeks ago, all of those things are a reality!

Wow! I cannot believe I’m actually getting to say it out loud. This has been a labor of love, prayer, and hard work, and I’m so excited to roll it out.

Here’s how it all breaks down:

Focus Fairhope

I’ll be moving my photography business from Birmingham, Alabama to the Gulf Coast serving Fairhope, Daphne, Mobile, and the rest of the Eastern Shore. I’m so excited to be able to do what I love in the town where I’ve always wanted to be.

We’ll be close to family (which is our favorite thing), the water (which is our favorite place), and we could not be more thankful.

I’m now accepting clients in the Fairhope area and only have two spots left for my recurring monthly packages. I’m so excited to start helping area businesses build a library of images that tell their story and reach their audience.

Focus Birmingham

There are some big changes coming to Focus Birmingham. I’ll keep working with my existing clients, but there is someone new that will assume the Birmingham market. Most of you know him on social as the creator of @cotton_state – showcasing the amazing views across our wonderful State of Alabama.

Introducing Stuart Franco as the first Focus Creative Licensed Photographer. I am so excited for him and even more excited for all the businesses he will soon help. Not only is Stuart an amazing photographer, he understands the Focus framework – where it’s more about why images engage an audience and how it’s making an impact for your business instead of just a pretty picture.

Okay … now for the big one! Two years ago, I came up with the idea of creating a business model implementing all the things I’ve learned during my photography career that would not only help businesses use the photos I was taking better, but to also empower photographers who were just starting out – more than likely spending all their time doing projects for little pay during times they should be spending with their family.
