Erin Poe, the owner of e-commerce boutique Gilded Garment, reached out to me about creating a library of images to showcase her Fall 2020 collection, so I immediately knew of the perfect location to shoot all the jewel tones and bright included in her pieces.

With a year like 2020, we wanted to do something different. You see, we normally photograph each individual product. That just didn’t make sense for this season, so I had the idea to showcase the clothes in settings where we all wanted to be and with friends we wantetd to see.

So, I called up my friends at Mayawell Bar in downtown Birmingham (near Pepper Place) about doing the shoot at their gorgeous location. Erin called Alex Denning Lee and Ashlie Burch to come model, gathered up all the goodies, and we made it happen.

It was so much fun to all be together again after 9+ months of not seeing each other … of not taking pictures together.
