In today’s competitive healthcare landscape, first impressions matter more than ever. In order to provide potential clients with an understanding of what to expect with your business it is important to have a curated brand image that accurately reflects the mission, aesthetic and client experience of your service!
We love working with our heart centered business owners and assisting them with bringing their vision to life. We use a uniquely tailored approach for each of our clients depending on the specific needs, voice, and messaging of their brand or service. Lets take a look at one of our recent clients, FlexCare!
Deep dive into our process with FlexCare Infusion Center’s Recent Photoshoot
We had the pleasure of working with FlexCare Infusion to solidify their messaging, brand aesthetic, online content and photos! FlexCare came to us with a need for a variety of shots that showcased their services, staff and facilities. All with the goal in mind of not only promoting their elevated infusion services, but to help potential clients feel more comfortable prior to booking appointments with the array of services offered. FlexCare needed their photos and marketing materials to tell their story so that by the time clients walked in the door they knew what to expect.
The Mission
FlexCare came to Focus Creative wanting polished warm stock photos that they could use across various platforms to reach and educate their potential clients. They wanted a variety of shots that captured their wonderful facilities, staff, and overall service! These photos are needed to not only capture the attention of potential clients, but also educate them on the services and answer any questions that may have prior to booking or showing up to their appointments at their 20+ locations!
Our approach
While our approach varies depending on the needs of the client. For FlexCare, a full day shoot was going to capture the content they needed to promote their 20+ locations across social media, their website, and print collateral.
Our multi step comprehensive process includes:
Brand Questionnaire: In order to gain a comprehensive understanding of your company’s marketing position, goals, aesthetic, and identity we send out a brand questionnaire that covers all aspects of your mission. This foundational step allows us to provide purposeful and effective marketing efforts particularly in the creation and execution of photo shoots! We received the feedback from FlexCare and began a rough outline of what our approach to the full day shoot would be before a call to consult on final details.
Planning Session: This would be considered a walk through to discuss the answers of the questionnaire and allow time for any additional requests, questions and ideas that may elevate the planning process!
Curated shot list and mood board: We love what we do and part of that is bringing a vision to life. We do this by creating a shot list and mood board that we will emulate on shoot day. Referring to the mood board makes the day go smoothly and the consistency among shots much clearer!
Scouting for talent: We find the right talent for you! We scout the perfect fit to bring your photos to life!
Photoshoot, editing, and curation: After a full day shoot, we get to work! We execute all editing and adjustments needed and choose the photos that will work best for your vision. We consider what will drive engagement and highlight the mission of your photoshoot!
Why Professional Photography Matters
The basic stock photos are no longer enough to squeeze by in an increasingly crowded online space, especially when competing with similar business models. This is why it is necessary to consider what is unique about your business and how you can reach your target audience through custom photography and social media content.
Building Trust with your Potential New Patients
Potential clients are more likely to spend their money with a brand that they trust. Businesses that use general stock photos have been associated with low trust brands for lack of individuality and realistic representation of services. The use of high quality custom images not only builds trust with potential clients through establishing credibility, but solidifies your unique brand.
Enhancing Brand Image from the Web to Social to Print Materials
When used intentionally, professional photography elevates your brand by conveying a strong identity. The more cohesive and compelling your brand photography is, the more likely you are to engage potential clients and make your brand more recognizable. A key component in achieving this is leveraging your photos to create a consistent presence amongst several platforms which reinforces your reliability and credibility.
Improving Online Presence
Do you ever wonder what is working for you and what may be working against you when it comes to social media or marketing materials? Of course there are analytics provided by apps to inform you on engagement, but what these analytics do not provide is the why behind what is or is not working. What we can say from our experience across platforms with various business owners is that It is important not to overlook the impact that strong visuals can have on boosting your website’s search engine optimization and social media engagement. In an online space that is consistently crowded with new videos and photos that are generally aiming to sell you something, it is important to increase your online presence in an authentic way!
Attracting Top Talent
Another aspect you may not have considered is how your branding and marketing may be reaching potential employees. Good business owners know that your business can only be as great as the individuals who are behind (or in front) of the scenes running the show! Attracting the top talent will prove to be much easier when your branding and marketing is doing all the work for you!
Not sure when to consider a photoshoot?
Rebranding or Relaunch: If you’re undergoing a rebranding or relaunch, new photos can help you introduce your fresh look!
Updating Your Website: Clients want to see updated realistic marketing materials! Outdated photos may contribute to mistrust or lack of interest.
Marketing Campaigns: If you are looking to launch a marketing campaign, getting the right content will make all the difference!
When is the right time to invest in professional photography for your medical practice?
Investing in your company comes in many different forms: financial investments, time spent in finding the right employees and leadership, marketing, design and customer service. Each of these variables contribute to the experience and return on investment. Investing in your future means consistently showing up for your business by leveraging marketing materials to take a load off your work schedule and allow you the time to get back to doing what you love- running your business!
