Hello September has always been about making people feel seen, celebrated, and cared for. But their old website wasn’t quite doing that justice. The site navigation and the shopping experience didn’t reflect the warmth of their in-person store, and the brand’s joyful personality wasn’t shining through online.

One of our top priorities was streamlining the user journey. A customer shouldn’t have to work hard to browse and find what they are looking for. We restructured the entire site architecture to make navigation intuitive and purposeful. From joyful moments like weddings and baby showers to sending sympathy for illness or loss, collections are now grouped in a way that speaks directly to real-life needs.
We also implemented a streamlined checkout process and updated look to the Shop app. For a business built around intentional, feel-good gifting, a seamless checkout experience is not just a feature … it’s essential.
Visuals That Do the Brand Justice
Hello September’s gift curation is visual, emotional, and personal. We knew that the imagery on the site had to match the warmth and care that goes into each product selection.
We accomplished this by:
- Highlighting their commissioned art and handmade pieces with elevated photography
- Ensuring every product image felt “on-brand” in tone and style
- Using consistent, clean design elements to create a visually cohesive experience

A Cohesive Brand Story, Start to Finish
One of the most important aspects of this project was aligning the website with Hello September’s in-store and social media experience. Customers who know and love the brand on Instagram or in person should feel instantly at home when they land on the site.
From tone of voice to color palette to product categorization, we built a digital experience that tells the same story across every touchpoint. The result? A site that not only looks great but feels like Hello September—warm, welcoming, and just a little bit magical.
